ARKAK and Palar Contracting Ltd.
ARKAK is a field-survey and construction documentation application provided by Palar Contracting Ltd. This policy covers both the app and this website.
Local Mode
ARKAK can be used without an account. Local projects and their records are stored on your device. Palar Contracting Ltd. does not receive Local Mode project content unless you deliberately share it with us or move the project to a connected service.
Connected Mode
When you sign in or join an organization, ARKAK may process account information such as your name, email address and organization membership, along with project content you choose to synchronize. Connected Mode may use ARKAK-hosted infrastructure or a server operated by your organization. An organization operating its own server is responsible for its processing and access policies.
Project and device information
Depending on the features you choose, project content may include field records, coordinates, photos, imported files, measurements, equipment or safety records, and LiDAR-derived scan data. Location, camera, photo-library and Bluetooth access are requested only when needed for a feature and remain subject to your device permissions.
How information is used
Information is used to provide the features you request, synchronize connected projects, secure accounts and organizations, maintain service reliability, respond to support requests, and meet legal or security obligations. ARKAK does not sell personal information, display third-party advertising, or use cross-app tracking.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by infrastructure providers that help operate the connected service, under contractual and security controls. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. Project information is shared with other organization members only according to the organization's permissions.
Retention and deletion
Local projects remain on the device until you remove them or delete the app. Connected information is retained while needed to provide the service and as required for security, legal, audit or dispute-resolution purposes. Authorized users can remove local copies, request project deletion, or request account deletion through available product controls. Some limited security and audit evidence may be retained where legally or operationally required.
Security and choices
ARKAK uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect connected information. You can control system permissions in iOS or iPadOS, choose Local Mode, select an authorized server, export project backups, and use available deletion controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Website enquiries
If you contact us through this website, we use the details you provide to respond to your enquiry. The website stores your language preference. We do not sell enquiry data or use it for third-party advertising.
Children
ARKAK is a professional field-work application and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as ARKAK evolves. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the app, website or another appropriate channel.
